We glean!
What is gleaning? Gleaning is the practice of walking farmers’ fields or orchards and gathering usable food after the farmers have finished the regular harvest.
How we work
We connect with local farmers and backyard gardeners who can't harvest and/or use all of their crop. We organize groups of volunteers to get food harvested before it spoils, and delivered to local food shelves, soup kitchens, schools, and community care homes.
